Driven by his love for gastronomy, Rachid Benboudy founded Bijoux Catering in January 2013. After learning his trade under some of the most eminent chefs in Paris, Las Vegas, London and Lausanne, the young chef today is intent on sharing his expertise through his own company, whose hallmarks are clearly conviviality and pleasure.
Alongside his teams, his generous and mouth-watering cooking comes straight from the heart and draws inspiration from his French origins. His origins shine through in his many culinary creations, all of which convey the sophistication and delicacy of French gastronomy. Rachid Benboudy provides his own take on the French classics and enhances them with an international feel, a touch of Asia and fragrances from elsewhere.

Team expertise and knowledge
After working alongside three-starred chef Alain Ducasse in the kitchens of the famous Plaza Athénée hotel in Paris, Rachid Benboudy moved to Switzerland in 2001, where he joined Edgard Bovier's team at the Ermitage in Küsnacht, before following the renowned chef to the Lausanne Palace. Empowered by the rewarding experience, the young chef subsequently performed stints in London and Las Vegas, before returning to Switzerland and joining the restaurant at the Château d'Ouchy in Lausanne. These are just some of the prestigious venues that gradually helped forge Rachid Benboudy's own culinary identity, which has been showcased within Bijoux Catering since early 2013.
In pursuing this adventure, the chef has formed a tight-knit team united by their experience in haute cuisine and who bring the company all their culinary skills and disciplined approach.
